- All six adult cultures (two of each phenotype) had a large amount of live adults. Half of these will be killed off so that virgins can be crossed, the other half will be left to continue to reproduce in case the new cross cultures die out and extra adults are needed.
- Aside from the adults, each culture also had a good number of flies close to hatching latched onto the sides of the cultures. They are expected to hatch within the next day or so, and will be sexed and divided into cultures.
- The crosses that we had previously attempted to start had completely died out; those cultures were cleaned and discarded.

Post-Break
After a week away from the flies due to Winter Break, the following observations were noted on the six cultures of flies:
