Test Crosses are a Go

After killing all of the adults left over from break, newly hatched virgins were collected this afternoon and arranged into crosses. Unfortunately, a large number of virgins were not extracted from their original cultures due engorgement by slime mold and overdoses of Fly Nap. However, two crosses of a medium size were set up; there were not enough hatching for other crosses, so virgins of the leftover phenotype were moved to a separate culture and will be crossed within the next day. Currently, there is are crosses of Wild Type Females with Vestigal males, and Wild Type males with Vestigal Females. Tomorrow White Eyed Females will be crossed with males of the other two phenotypes, along with other needed combinations.
